About Chris Mansbridge
My mission is to allow each individual get the most of out of all aspects of their lives by providing them with world-class acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
– Chris Mansbridge
Chris graduated and was nominated Valedictorian from The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson BC in 2012. Since then, he’s pursued post-graduate studies in sports medicine and pain, working alongside trainers and therapists for the Toronto Blue Jays, US Olympic Team, as well as a number of NFL and NCAA Football teams. As a former competitive ski athlete, he understands how injuries hurt in three ways: There is pain from the injury, pain from not being able to do what you love while you’re injured, and the financial pain of not being able to work and support yourself. His goal is to decrease these pains, get you back doing what you love and keep you there. Chris develops a specific treatment plan for each individual which often include acupuncture, cupping, stretching, exercises, herbal prescriptions, and diet therapy. He also feels it’s important that everyone understands what has happened to their body and how he plans to correct their problems and complaints.
Two Acupuncture Clinics
Chris runs two Acupuncture Clinics: one in Castlegar and one in Nelson, BC. He also works at health care facilities in Castlegar and Trail providing acupuncture for those dealing with mental health and addiction problems. When not working, Chris enjoys skiing and biking with his son, running, hiking, and thrift store shopping with his wife.
